"Woman ft. Cleo Sol"
HIP-HOP
EMPOWERMENT
TIMELESS

"Little Simz’s music has always been striking and thoughtful, but judging by these first two tasters, it looks as if the new album will be simultaneously her most personal and most powerful work to date”
– COMPLEX
At just 27, Little Simz's expansive talent has already cemented her legacy as one of hip-hop's most invaluable young voices. Mercury and Mobo nominations, Ivor Novello and NME wins, a critically-acclaimed music career and a starring role in Top Boy, one of the most talked about Netflix reboots, are just the tip of the iceberg. Three wildly praised studio albums in, Simbiatu Ajikawo, p/k/a Little Simz, is at a critical crossroads – her wild ambition, fierce talent and furiously diligent work ethic have won her devoted fans from Kendrick Lamar to Damon Albarn to Jay-Z and seen praise heaped upon her from publications on both sides of the Atlantic, but what’s next? With her forthcoming album Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, (a title which also spells her name, Simbi) Simz has risen to the challenge tenfold. The first two singles off the sprawling genre-defying masterpiece, the epic rallying cry "Introvert" and now "Woman" which acts as a soulful love letter to women all around the world, provide a taste of her most ambitious and vulnerable work yet. Produced by Inflo (Jungle, Michael Kiwanuka) and featuring West London songstress Cleo Sol, the song is a stunning preview of the album’s coruscating journey into the heart of what it means to be alive in these tumultuous times.
The official video, directed by Simz herself, features a star studded line up including iconic women like Jourdan Dunn, Zeze Mills, Miraa May and more. Check it out here!

"French Kiss Deux ft. Illa J"
"Phife sounds bursting with energy... These songs show him at the height of his powers as an MC" – Rolling Stone
Legendary hip-hop artist and rapper Phife Dawg releases new track “French Kiss Deux,” a lovely and low-stakes ode to the women of Montreal. The single, a collaboration with Illa J (J Dilla’s brother and a fellow member of Slum Village) and produced by Potatohead People, the track gives off heavy Dilla vibes. On the song, Phife and Illa J rhapsodize over a slow-burble bassline and some hazy jazz horns, leaning into the 90s sound that Phife's fans know so well. "French Kiss Deux" was recorded while Phife and the iconic hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest were working on their last gold selling release We Got It From Here... Thank You 4 Your Service, before his untimely passing in 2016. It's the latest peek into Forever, the forthcoming posthumous Phife album due later this year.

"The duo’s new track draws on Tres’ key influences, 90s Detroit house and West Coast hip-hop, with a throbbing synth bassline and understated keys foregrounding the rapper’s smooth vocals" – NME
Australian producer duo Flight Facilities return to their beloved fanbase, releasing new single "Lights Up" which immerses fans in a feeling of West-Coast cool imparted by collaborator Channel Tres. Initially gaining recognition in 2010 for singles like “Crave You” ft. Giselle Rosselli and “Foreign Language”, Flight Facilities has since been a constant industry driving force, which included releasing their debut and only full-length album to date Down to Earth in 2014. "Lights Up" is the first new track to be released in over a year from the live-electronic selectors, who have been working together for over a decade, creating timeless, genre-defying classics drenched in a sense of nostalgia. The new single is a continuation of this philosophy and the result is a track that belongs to these moments in time as much as it represents what’s next for the global dance sound, a confluence of feeling and style.

A Touch of The Beat Gets You Up on Your Feet Gets You Out and Then Into The Sun
"Aly & AJ came to f*ck 2021 up" – Vulture
Bolstered by the TikTok explosion of their iconic song "Potential Breakup Song" in late 2020, Aly & AJ return with their first full length album in 14 years, a touch of the beat gets you up on your feet gets you out and then into the sun. The project harks back to their earlier pop smash hits, energizing old fans while capturing new ones as the sister duo enter a new era of pop artistry; an era marked by a timeless union of indie rock and radio ready sheeny pop. Recorded live at the legendary Sunset Sound and produced by Yves Rothman (Freya Ridings, Yves Tumor), the lush and romance filled album is indie rock in its soul, with just the right elements of shiny radio ready hits. Lauded among pop lovers, the sister duo are no strangers to the limelight, and recently they've received praise from the Fader, NY Times, and Rolling Stone, while In 2020 they landed on Billboard's Best of Pop list and NPR's Best Music of 2020.
