"Weakness" is the first single from Alice Ivy's forthcoming third studio album and features Meanjin/Brisbane First Nations 19-year-old artist Sycco. It marks a sonic shift that more faithfully reflects her Seventies psychedelic, Motown and soul influences.

Alice Ivy is an Australian female producer and songwriter from Naarm/Melbourne. Her 2020 album, "Don't Sleep" was nominated for 'Best Dance Release' and 'Best Engineer' at the ARIA's, the 2020 'J Award' and was shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize. "Weakness" features triple j 'Hottest 100' (#29) favourite Sycco, as well as prolific NYC bass guitarist Nick Movshon (Mark Ronson, Amy Winehouse, Sharon Jones). It was mixed by Andrew Dawson (Kanye West, Tyler The Creator) and mastered by Calbi // Fallone (Tame Impala).
