In early December 2019 just as the creative world was invading Miami for Art Basel, Deadmau5 joined The Neptunes at North Miami’s Criteria Recording Studios for a secret studio session laying the groundwork for the new single “Pomegranate.” The Neptunes' “Pomegranate” takes Joel Zimmerman, Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo into a newplane of sweet-jam R&B with electro-pop panache.

The luscious “Pomegranate” straddles remarkably well between the two worlds of Deadmau5 and The Neptunes. Heavy electronic basslines, shimmering tones and sensual lyrics delivered by The Neptunes’ Pharrell Williams combine for a breezy collaboration ready to dominate radio waves and playlists this spring.

Bay area producer Jim-E stack releases his first single, "Note to Self," from his upcoming album slated for August 2020. The song features Empress Of and will have a music video released day and date, and confirmed social support from Empress Of.

Coming off his recent collab with Bon Iver, Jim-E Stack is slated to release two albums this year, boasting features from Octavian, Empress Of, Bon Iver, Kacy Hill etc. Jim-E started his career as a DJ, and after moving from coast to coast, was able to hone his skills as a producer working with the likes of Diplo, Charli XCX, HAIM, Perfume Genius among others. Jim-E has a 1975 remix releasing later this year, and will be supporting this release with digital ad spends and official music videos.
